 Music @ Main concerts are open to the general public and reservations are not required. Unless otherwise noted, these free concerts are presented in the Main Library's Hicks Auditorium, located on the Conference Level of the Library near the Main Street entrance.

This month's performers are Jonathan Kuo, violin and Anthony Anurca, bassoon from Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra.

About the Musicians
Jonathan Kuo, a native of Los Angeles, joined the violin section of the Jacksonville Symphony in September 2016. Prior to this he performed for one season with the Stavanger Symfoniorkester in Norway and two seasons with the New World Symphony in Miami Beach. Jonathan's summer music festivals experience include: Astoria, Aspen, Schleswig-Holstein, Pacific, Britten-Pears and Music Masters Course Japan. He has also toured China with the Juilliard Orchestra and performed with the Sapporo Symphony in Japan.

Anthony Anurca, bassoonist, contrabassoonist, composer, arranger, is a native of Jacksonville and is a member of the Jacksonville Symphony. Graduate of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, he has also been a fellow with the New World Symphony Orchestral Academy in Miami Beach, FL. He has played with the Kansas City Symphony and many orchestras in the Southeast.  He has recorded bassoon tracks with singer/songwriters: Rickolus, Gabe Darling, and Radical Face. In the summer he is on faculty at the Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro, NC. He occasionally hosts house concerts in his home in Springfield, NC.
