Description:
 This program will be rescheduled in 2019. Revisit Plato's popular story about an advanced civilization, far to the West of the Pillars of Hercules - Atlantis. But there are other stories and theories as to where Atlantis lies, or even if it ever existed. Explore the conflicting theories and visit alternative sites. We will also look at an American, "The Sleeping Prophet" Edgar Cayce, and his early 20th Century prophecy of discovery, decades later, off the island of Bimini in the Caribbean.

Join enrichment speaker Patrick McCormack on an insightful high seas adventure. Mr. McCormack holds a double major from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in Psychology as well as Sociology, with an emphasis on research and analysis. His interests includes Archaeology and Anthropology, to which he has placed the skills and talents achieved through his academic work, to good use. His hobbies include photomicrophy.
