In celebration of GLBT Books Month, join us for a screening of the award-winning documentary “Major!” This film explores the life and campaigns of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy, a formerly incarcerated Black transgender elder and activist who has been fighting for the rights of trans women of color for over 40 years. The screening will be followed by a discussion. This program is presented in partnership with the Jacksonville Transgender Action Committee, JASMYN, Jacksonville Community Action Committee and Coalition for Consent. The program is free, open to the public and does not require reservations.
