 Come join us at the Main Library downtown for a wonderful afternoon of topnotch classical music featuring oboist Ann Adams.
The talented artists joining Dr. Adams are Carol Griffin, flute; Ted Shistle, bassoon; Don Casper, guitar; Ben Beck, piano; and Jessica Wieland, clarinet.

Ann Adams is the Band Director at LaVilla School of the Arts, and on the faculty at The University of North Florida where she teaches applied oboe and chamber music. Previously Professor of Oboe and Music Education at Stetson University in Deland, Florida, she received the D.M., M.M., and M.M.E. degrees from Florida State University studying with Dr. Eric Ohlsson, and the B.M. degree from Western Michigan University studying with Dr. Robert Humistson. In addition to solo appearances, Dr. Adams performs on oboe, oboe d’amore and English horn with various orchestras and chamber ensembles in Central and Northeast Florida. She is active as a clinician and in a number of professional organizations, including IDRS, CMS, MENC, FMEA, NBA, and FBA.

Presented monthly (Sept.-June) in the Main Library's Hicks Auditorium, Intermezzo concerts are free and open to the public, and reservations are not required. Free Sunday parking is available in the public garage at Duval and Main; bring your ticket into the Library for validation. Free on-street parking is also available on weekends.
